Realme Pad 2 Lite Launched with 10.95-Inch 2K Display, Helio G99 Chipset, and 8300mAh Battery

Realme has launched its latest tablet, the Realme Pad 2 Lite, alongside the Realme P2 Pro smartphone. This budget-friendly tablet caters to users looking for a balance between affordability and essential features.

Display and Design

The Realme Pad 2 Lite features a 10.5-inch LCD display with a 2K resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a more responsive user experience. To protect your eyes during extended use, the tablet includes Eye Comfort display features. The peak brightness of 450 nits ensures decent visibility indoors, but outdoor use might be limited in bright sunlight.

The tablet boasts a sleek 8.32mm design and a vegan leather finish, offering a premium look and feel.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Realme Pad 2 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the same chipset used in the standard Pad 2. While not a powerhouse, this processor should handle everyday tasks like browsing the web, watching videos, and working with documents adequately.

The RAM options include 4GB or 8GB, with the ability to expand RAM virtually by another 8GB for a total of 16GB using Realme's Dynamic RAM expansion technology. Storage is capped at 128GB, but it can be expanded further using a microSD card.

The Realme Pad 2 Lite runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 5.0 for Pad customized for the tablet experience.

Cameras and Battery

The camera setup on the Pad 2 Lite is basic. It features an 8MP rear camera for capturing casual photos and documents, and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls.

The tablet packs a sizable 8300mAh battery, promising long battery life for on-the-go users. However, fast charging is limited to 15W, so a full charge might take some time.

Pricing and Availability

Realme has priced the Pad 2 Lite aggressively to cater to budget-conscious consumers. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is available for Rs. 14,999, while the higher-end 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs Rs. 16,999.

The tablet will be available soon on Realme's official website, Flipkart, and select retail stores. The exact release date is expected to be announced in the coming days.
