Realme Pad 2 Lite With 2K Display and 8300mAh Battery Set to Launch on September 13 in India

Realme is all set to launch the P2 Pro smartphone on September 13 in India. Now, the brand has confirmed it is also launching an affordable version of the Pad 2 dubbed the Realme Pad 2 Lite on the same day. Here's what to expect from the upcoming tablet.

Realme Pad 2 Lite Launching on September 13

The Realme Pad 2 Lite is confirmed to launch on September 13 at 12 PM IST in India. Following the launch, the tablet will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the brand's official site. Flipkart has also created a dedicated microsite, revealing its features and design.

Realme Pad 2 Lite: What to Expect?

The Realme Pad 2 Lite teaser confirms the tablet will have a dual-tone design and circular camera module at the back, which is quite similar to the original Pad 2. It will be offered in lavender and dark grey colour options.

The tablet is also confirmed to feature a 2K Eye Comfort Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DC dimming, an 83.6% screen-to-body ratio, and 450 nits of brightness. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM (including dynamic RAM) and 128GB of native storage.

On the software front, the Realme Pad 2 Lite will run Realme UI 5.0 and it will pack an 8,300mAh battery unit which is claimed to offer 14 hours of video playback, 9 hours of video calling, and 17 hours of reading time.

As of now, there is no word on the pricing of the Realme Pad 2 Lite. Since it will be an affordable variant, we expect the tablet will cost cheaper compared to the original Realme Pad 2 which was launched starting at Rs 17,999 for the Wi-Fi variant.
