Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G Teased for India, Amazon and Flipkart Availability Confirmed
Xiaomi is getting ready to bring another tablet to India. A new teaser has confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G is launching in the country soon, with availability locked in on both Amazon India and Flipkart.

The teaser itself doesn’t say much beyond that, but the branding makes it clear this is the same Redmi Pad 2 Pro that Xiaomi launched globally in September 2025. More details are expected to roll out through follow-up teasers in the coming days.
What the Teaser Tells Us
Xiaomi’s teaser image keeps things minimal. You can spot the “Pro” branding and the Redmi Pad naming, without any specs or dates attached. What it does confirm is that the tablet will be sold online through Amazon and Flipkart, which usually means wide availability from day one.
Xiaomi has also hinted that more teasers are coming, so the official launch timeline should become clearer soon.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G: What to Expect
Based on the global version, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro comes with a large 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby Vision and gets reasonably bright for everyday use.

The tablet runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in global markets.
Battery, Audio, and Extras
Battery capacity is one of the standout parts of this tablet. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro packs a 12,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging. It also supports reverse charging, which can be handy if you need to top up another device.
You also get quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a slim metal body. Xiaomi offers optional keyboard and stylus accessories globally, and there’s a good chance those will be available in India too.
What Happens Next
Pricing and the exact launch date haven’t been shared yet. But with the teaser already live, it’s safe to say Xiaomi isn’t too far from making things official.
If you’ve been waiting for a large-screen Android tablet that sits between budget and premium options, this one is worth keeping an eye on.
