Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Pad SE 4G Launching on July 29 in India: Check Features and Expected Price

Redmi is gearing up to launch two new tablets namely - the Pad Pro 5G and the Redmi Pad SE 4G in the Indian market. The latter is available in the country and was launched in a single Wi-Fi variant. In contrast, the Redmi Pro 5G was originally announced in China in April this year.

The dedicated microsites for the upcoming tablets are now live on Xiaomi India's official site, revealing their design and features. Let's take a look at the features of these tablets we know so far.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G: What to Expect?

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is confirmed to feature a 12.1-inch display, which is 33 per cent larger compared to the Redmi Pad. The tablet will come with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and quad speakers. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and will pack a 10,000 mAh battery, which is claimed to offer 12 hours of video playback time and 33+ days of standby time. On the software front, the tablet will run HyperOS.

Given that, we can expect the Indian variant of the Redmi Pad Pro will have identical specs as the Chinese counterpart. This means the tablet will offer an 8MP rear camera, 33W fast charging, 1.5TB expandable storage, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of pricing, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is expected to fall under the Rs 30,000 segment in India. However, it's better to take the pricing as a hint and wait for the official announcement.

Redmi Pad SE 4G: What to Expect?

On the other hand, the Redmi Pad SE 4G will be an affordable option compared to the Pad Pro 5G. The Pad SE is confirmed to come with 128GB of storage, HD display, and Dolby Atmos support.

While the processor and display of the tablet are yet to be announced, rumours suggested the Pad SE 4G will come with a 90Hz display, a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, and a 6650 mAh battery with 18W charging.
