Redmi Pad SE: Leaked Renders and Global Launch Details Surface - Everything You Need to Know
In October 2022, Xiaomi made a splash in the Indian market by introducing the Redmi Pad, featuring the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The tablet was aimed at providing a formidable competitor to other tablets priced under Rs 20,000. Now, exciting news has surfaced as tipster Kacper Skrzypek reveals that Xiaomi is working on a successor to the Redmi Pad, aptly named Redmi Pad 2. However, fresh information from Spanish media outlet Kimovil suggests that the tablet will instead be launched as the Redmi Pad SE on a global scale.
Design and Display
The renders shared by Kimovil show that the Redmi Pad SE will retain the design elements of its predecessor, with noticeable bezels surrounding the 11-inch IPS LCD panel.

The display will offer a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1200 × 1920 pixels, ensuring a vibrant and enjoyable viewing experience.
Performance and Software
The tablet has already been spotted on GeekBench, impressing with its performance. Running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box, the Redmi Pad SE is expected to deliver a seamless user experience. Powering the device is an octa-core CPU with two sets of 4 cores clocked at 2.40GHz. This chipset, codenamed Bengal, is speculated to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, a robust and efficient processor.
Storage and RAM
Xiaomi will reportedly offer the Redmi Pad SE in three variants, catering to different storage and RAM requirements. Users can choose from options with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, ensuring ample space for apps, files, and multimedia.
Camera and Battery
The Redmi Pad SE will boast an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, enabling users to capture moments and engage in video calls.

Additionally, the tablet will support 18W fast charging, making it convenient to keep the massive 8000mAh battery juiced up for extended usage periods.
