Samsung, one of the biggest and most trusted smartphone brand has now launched a new tablet in the Indian market.

Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0, the company has claimed that the tablet guarantees non-stop entertainment and is the most affordable 4G tablet from Samsung. The new tablet also combines refined design, superior display, and powerful battery to deliver enhanced performance.

Design and Display

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 features a slim design, round edges and non-slip pattern which will make it easy for users to hold with one hand and convenient to carry the device anywhere, anytime. As for the display, the tablet comes with a 7-inch WXGA (1280x800 pixels) TFT display and the company has said that it is better than HD display and delivers superior viewing experience.

Under the Hood

The tablet is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor which is paired with 1.5GB RAM. The tablet offers 8GB of inbuilt storage and it is further expandable up to 200GB via microSD card making it a powerhouse to store all data and contents like photos and videos.

The device is backed by a 4000mAH battery, and Samsung has said that the new Galaxy Tab A 7.0 provides up to 9 hours of video playback. The tablet is equipped with a 5 megapixel AF camera at the rear and a 2 MP front camera.

Other Features

Connectivity options in the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2018) include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, VoLTE, and FM Radio. It has an accelerometer sensor as well.

Interestingly, Galaxy Tab A 7.0 comes pre-loaded with Kids Mode that provides educational and beneficial content designed especially for kids. The device also provides parental control, making it a fun yet safe experience for kids. Parental Control offers features such as setting usage time limits and restricting app access.

Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 has been launched at a price of Rs. 9,500 and will come in two White and Black color variants. It will be available across retail stores starting January 5, 2018. Galaxy Tab A 7.0 will also be available via Amazon.

Moreover, Reliance Jio users will be getting an additional Rs. 2,000 Cashback. Users have to recharge with Reliance Jio plan of Rs. 299 to get the cashback which will be provided as Jio money. Users will further get Rs. 800 after 12 months and Rs. 1,200 after the subsequent 12 months. Users will have to perform 13 successful recharges of Rs. 299 every 12 months.
