Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series Tablets Specifications, Features Leak: QHD Display, Exynos 1380 SoC, 12GB RAM

Samsung is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE (Fan Edition) series tablet early next month. These midrange tablets are packed with useful features and ultra-high-resolution displays, a new leak indicates.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series includes the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus tablets. Let's look at the leaked specifications, features, expected launch, price, and availability.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series includes the entry-level Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet, which features a 10.9-inch QHD LCD screen with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels.

The top-end Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus tablet features a larger 12.4-inch QHD+ WQXGA LCD panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. A leak claims only the larger Plus model will support the Samsung S-Pen stylus.

Both tablets in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1380 SoC. The entry-level Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet will be available in 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage models.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus tablet will be available with either 8GB or 12GB RAM. Buyers will be able to choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.

Both tablets will feature a dedicated microSD card to expand onboard storage and a 12MP front-facing camera.

The entry-level tablet in the upcoming series will feature a single 8MP rear camera. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus will feature a dual rear camera setup comprising an 8MP primary rear camera, which will be accompanied by an additional 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE will be powered by an 8000mAh battery, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus is packing a 10,090mAh battery. Samsung hasn't indicated the wired fast-charging tech these tablets will support.

Both tablets in the upcoming series are running Android 13-based One UI 5.1. Some of the notable connectivity features of these tablets include Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. These tablets have secured an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Samsung is tipped to offer iterations of these tablets that will support 5G cellular connectivity. However, there's no confirmation about the same yet.

Samsung hasn't confirmed the actual launch date of these tablets. However, they could be announced early next month.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series will be available in gray, mint, silver, and lavender color options. However, some color options could be limited to certain markets.

The entry-level model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE will be priced at Euro 529 (approx. $555 / ₹46,000), while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will be priced at Euro 699 (approx. $735 / ₹61,000). The 5G variants of these tablets would cost an additional 100 euros.
