Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series to Include Three Models
Samsung is working on its high-end Galaxy Tab S9 series expected to launch in the second half of this year. According to the latest report, the S9 lineup includes three models, namely, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series will succeed the Tab S8, which comprises the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The S8 series of tablets was launched in India back in February last year.

Galaxy Tab S9 Models Revealed
According to a report by GalaxyClub, the model numbers of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series have been revealed. All three Tab S9 models will come in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + 5G variants.
The Galaxy Tab S9 includes model number SM-X710 for the Wi-Fi model, SM-X716B for the global 5G version, and SM-X718U for the 5G US model. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9+ will come in model number SM-X810 for the Wi-Fi variant, SM-X816B for the global 5G version, and SM-X818U for the 5G US model. Finally, the Tab S9 models include SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), and SM-X918U (5G US).
Although Samsung has not shared any details about the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series, rumors suggest the device will launch in the second half of this year.
Interestingly, the S9 lineup could be the only high-end tablet that is water-resistant. It is reported that the upcoming Galaxy S9 series might come with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
Reports indicate that Samsung's upcoming tablets could feature One UI 5.1, based on Android 13. The Galaxy Tab S9 could be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
In addition, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series to get upgrades over its predecessor, with a better camera setup, AKG-tuned speakers, and improved software. There's no word on the display specs, so it's unclear whether all Tab S9 models will get OLED displays.
