Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Specs Leak: SD8 Gen2 SoC, 14.2-Inch S-AMOLED Screen Tipped
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was, and still is, one of the best Android tablets with uncompromised hardware and top-end specifications. A few of the key specs of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have surfaced online and indicate the as-yet-unannounced touchscreen slate follows the same trend.
Key specifications for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have leaked. Following in the footsteps of the Tab S8 Ultra, the Tab S9 Ultra is expected to be a flagship Android tablet with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 14.2-inch Super AMOLED screen, 16GB RAM, and much more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Leaked Specifications, Features
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which launched last year. The Tab S9 Ultra is tipped to have the same dimensions as its predecessors. This means the upcoming tablet might measure 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5 mm. The device's weight has increased slightly, claims the leak.
The Tab S9 Ultra is tipped to feature a 14.6-inch WQXGA+ Super AMOLED display with a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. The 2960 x 1848 pixel resolution on its display seems to be the same as the one on the Tab S8 Ultra. Simply put, Samsung may have reused the display in the new tablet.
As per the latest leak about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Samsung has embedded a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that it had procured from Qualcomm. This could be the same, slightly overclocked iteration of the flagship chipset which powers the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC could be paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. There's no information available about the internal storage. However, Samsung may offer 512GB or 1TB of internal storage in the top-end model.
The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is tipped to have a large 11200mAh battery, which could support 45W wired fast charging. As it is a premium Android tablet from Samsung, the Tab S9 Ultra might support the company's S Pen stylus. Other rumors include stereo speakers with "Sound by AKG", and 5G wireless internet connectivity.
The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra could run the latest One UI software. However, one of the big changes in the new tablet is the IP rating, claims the leak. Tab S9 Ultra may have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Expected Launch, Availability In India
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is currently available in India on the Amazon India website. Hence, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will likely land in India after Samsung launches the premium Android tablet.
Samsung hasn't confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, let alone announce the tablet's launch. The Tab S8 Ultra was launched last February. However, the Tab S9 Ultra is rumored to launch in the second or third quarter of this year.
As with the Tab 8 series, the Tab 9 series might include multiple tablets at varying price points. The Tab 9 Ultra may cost more than ₹1,25,000.
