Gigantic 18.5 inch Samsung Galaxy View tablet was spotted on the GeekBench today, with detailed specs. Samsung had officially confirmed the existence of the tablet just at the IFA this year by posting a teaser images of the leaked tablet. Previous reports had hinted at a model no of SM-T760, which is in accordance to the GeekBench listing.
The GeekBench listing claims that the Samsung View tablet comes with an 18.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080) display on the top. Under the hood is a 1.6GHz octa core Exynos 7 series CPU along with a Mali T720 GPU. Previous leaks had hinted that the Samsung View tablet will come with an Exynos 7580 SoC with cores clocked at the same clock speed as spotted on the GeekBench listing.
The Samsung Galaxy View Tablet comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The surprising details however is that the 18.5 inch tablet lacks a camera at the back despite sporting a 2MP front camera. This is against the previously leaked info stating that the Samsung Galaxy View tablet will come with an 8MP camera on the rear.
The GeekBench listing doesn't reveal any info regarding the battery, however going by previous leaked it would be safe to assume that it will come with a 5700mAh battery. As expected the oversized Samsung tablet runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 with the company's own TouchWiz UI on top.
Analysts at Gizbot however feel that it would be better to call this humongous 18.5 inch tablet as a Tabletop which can be used for family consumptions like group gaming, watching YouTube movies etc. It also worth mentioning that the Samsung Tablet passed through Bluetooth certification very recently, hence it is expected to launch soon, may be before the Christmas season?
