Vivo has launched the Vivo X Fold 2 and the Vivo X Flip Android smartphones. Alongside these flagship Android devices, Vivo launched the second-generation Vivo Pad 2.

The Vivo Pad 2 is an upgraded version of the Vivo Pad tablet launched last year. The premium tablet is packed with high-end features, such as a 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and much more. Vivo Pad 2 Specifications, Features

The Vivo Pad 2 is a top-of-the-line, premium tablet with premium hardware. The Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.8K resolution and up to a 144Hz refresh rate. The 2.8K screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1968 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Vivo has embedded the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, a flagship-grade chipset with a prime performance core capable of hitting 3.05 GHz inside the Vivo Pad 2. The powerful SoC is paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Buyers can choose from 128GB, 256 GB, or 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The Vivo Pad 2 tablet has a dual camera setup on the back, comprising a 13MP primary camera with a 2MP macro lens and an LED flash. There's an 8MP camera on top of the display for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Vivo has deployed an in-house developed Liuyang super audio system coupled with four speakers, which promises to deliver an immersive and powerful sound experience. The tablet also supports multi-device cross-screen collaboration and can link seamlessly with mobile phones and computers.

Furthermore, the Vivo Pad 2 features a proprietary simulation writing engine that promises a real and tactile writing experience. The Vivo Pad 2 boots Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3 tweaked for the tablet. The tablet is powered by a massive 10,000mAh battery, with support for 44W wired fast charging. There is support for NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.3. The tablet can connect with a keyboard via dedicated Pogo pins on the back panel.

Vivo has announced the Vivo Pad 2. The tablet is available in three colors. The prices of the Vivo Pad 2 variants are as below:

The Vivo Pad 2 will be limited to China for now. A few rumors suggest the brand may launch the tablet outside China in the near future.
