Xiaomi Pad 6 Confirmed to Launch on June 13, Specs Revealed

Xiaomi's re-entry into the tablet market is set to continue with the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6, which the company confirmed will be launching next week. The tablet, which will be the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 5 has been officially teased by the company, revealing the launch date and the design.

The teaser image shared by the company's official handles on social media reveals the Xiaomi Pad 6 will launch in India on June 13, and will feature an 8-series Snapdragon chipset, improved keyboard dock and the 2nd Gen Xiaomi Smart Pen, which is likely to be sold separately.

Xiaomi Pad 6 India Launch Confirmed

The Xiaomi Pad 6 is now being officially teased with social media posters and a dedicated microsite detailing some of the features of the tablet. The tablet looks quite similar to its predecessor. By the looks of it, it will have a metal build and a sleek design.

Xiaomi Pad 6: Confirmed Specs

The tablet is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is a flagship processor from Qualcomm but is now slightly dated. The microsite also confirmed the tablet will sport a Dolby Vision display with support for Dolby Atmos sound. It will also have support for the second generation Xiaomi Smart Pen.

The tablet will feature an 11-inch display with 2.8K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display specs are similar to the OnePlus Pad and the iQOO Pad.

The tablet will also sport a 8,860 mAh battery with support for 33W fsat charging. There is expected to be 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

At the back, the tablet will feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Additionally, the tablet will come with MIUI 14 out of the box, based on Android 13, and a USB-C port for charging.

The tablet was announced back in China earlier this year, and is expected to be priced under Rs 30,000. However, the company has not revealed anything about the pricing of the tablet.
