Xiaomi Pad 6 Key Specifications Confirmed: Flagship Android Tablet With 120Hz Display, SD870 or SD8+G1 SoC

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra next week. The brand also indicated it will launch the Xiaomi Pad 6 alongside the flagship Android smartphone.

The base variant of the upcoming tablet, identified as the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Pro variant of the Xiaomi Pad 6 will pack Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Both variants will feature a high-resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and much more.

Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro Chipset Confirmed In Promotional Posters

The Xiaomi Pad 6 series will launch next week. Xiaomi has scheduled an event on April 18 to launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The Chinese tech giant has released a couple of posters that reveal the premium tablet series will include the Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

As revealed by the posters, the standard variant of the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This chipset might be a little old, but it has powerful CPU and GPU cores that support high-resolution and high FPS gaming.

As the name indicates, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is a higher-end variant. This premium model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Needless to mention, this is a flagship-grade chipset, which sits right below the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Key Specifications Confirmed Via FCC Listing

Only the standard variant of the Xiaomi Pad 6 has received an FCC listing, which suggests Xiaomi may launch only one model of the tablet outside China, at least in the near future.

A Xiaomi device, bearing the model number 23043RP34G surfaced on the US FCC certification website. The device will be powered by a battery rated with a capacity of 4,320mAh, which should translate into a 4,500mAh battery capacity in the marketing material.

The Xiaomi device will support 33W wired fast charging. Furthermore, the FCC sighting confirms that the device will run on Android 13 OS-based MIUI 14 out of the box. There is support for dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), as indicated by the FCC listing.

The FCC listing also revealed the Xiaomi Pad 6 has two variants with varying RAM sizes. Buyers may choose between 6GB or 8GB RAM. The 6GB RAM model would have 128GB of internal storage, while the 8GB RAM variant would pack 256GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi hasn't yet confirmed the display specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 6. However, previous reports suggest Xiaomi has used an 11-inch IPS LCD with a 2880 x 1800 pixels resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate.
