Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Pad 7 next month in India. The brand has started teasing the arrival of the next-gen tablet, which will succeed the Xiaomi Pad 6. The brand will announce its latest tablet on January 10 in the country.

To recall, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro were originally launched back in October in China, featuring a 3.2K 144Hz display and HyperOS 2. Even the Indian variant of the Pad 7 was recently spotted on Geekbench and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) websites. Here's everything you should know about the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7.

A dedicated microsite for the upcoming Xiaomi tablet has gone live on Amazon, confirming its availability on the e-commerce site. The official teaser further reveals the tablet will be tactile and come with a keyboard and stylus.

Xiaomi Pad 7: What to Expect?

In terms of features, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is believed to offer specifications similar to those of its Chinese variant. The tablet features an 11.2-inch LCD display with a high 3.2K resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

For optics, the Xiaomi Pad 7 has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It also packs an 8850mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The tablet was launched in India starting at 1999 Yuan (around Rs 23,549). Given that, we expect it could be priced at less than Rs 30,000 in India.

As noted, the launch will take place on January 10 in India. Following the launch, the device will go on sale via Amazon and the brand's official website. However, it remains to be seen if the brand will also bring the Pad 7 Pro to the country, which comes with identical specifications as the standard model except for the processor and camera.
