8 Devices Launched for Indian Market at Samsung Forum 2015: Galaxy A7, 4G Range, Tab Active and More
Just 13 days are left and the whole tech industry will be excited to witness the amaze of all the devices which will be launched in the world's biggest tech show to be held in Barcelona, Spain.
However, just before that South Korean tech giant conduscted the Samsung Forum 2015 in various parts of the world to showcase their consumer and mobile device range before the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge flaghship device launches.

GizBot also went to attend one which took place in Bangkok for the South-west Asian market. Over here we got to witness the Samsung's wide product and solution portfolio for consumer, corporate and Government customers.
So let's take a look at Samsung's key products annnouncements which took place at its Southwest Asia Forum. This includes the Samsung Galaxy range of smartphones and tablet which are coming to India, the consumer electronics and also digital solutions. The first announcement in the mobile segment, the launch of stylish Galaxy A7, the slimmest Galaxy smartphone measuring 6.3 mm which will be available from February 16th at an asking price of Rs 30,499. Specswise, Galaxy A7 has got it all including the customary AMOLED display at a screen size of 5.5 inch Full HD, full Metal unibody form factor, Dual SIM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 Megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of memory, 2GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon Octacore processor, 2,600mAh battery, however, Android Lollipop is missing - instead it runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) out-of-box. Taking a step into affordable 4G range, Samsung launched three smartphone. The biggest in the group, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G which is 8.4mm slim and sports a 5" qHD display also comes with 5MP front camera, Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor, 8GB internal memory, 1GB RAM, 8MP main camera on the rear, Android 4.4 KitKat, Dual SIM and battery capacity of 2600mAh. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G will be available on all e-stores, from March 2015 second week. It will carry a price tag of Rs. 9,900 onwards. Galaxy Core Prime 4G was another 4G smartphone launched by Samsung at a similar price range specs. Specs like 4.5-inch WVGA PLS TFT LCD screen, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Android KitKat 4.4, FM Radio, dual SIM and 2000mAh battery were almost similar. However the display of Core 4G is quite amazing. The smallest among the 4G range, Galaxy J1 4G is equipped with a 4.3-inch WVGA TFT display, 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 2 MP front-facing camera. The camera has innovative selfie features which give more options and flexibility to capture favourite moments. Apart from the smartphones, Samsung also unveiled a new tablet in the ruggedized tabletd for business customers - the Galaxy Tab Active. Samsung confirmed that this tablet will not be sold on retail stores, rather it will be made available only via specific dealers and will cost in India for around Rs 52,000. The date of availability is something the company is tentative about. Specswise, it's an tablet 8-inch HD tablet, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8026 processor with 1.5GB memory and 16GB of internal flash storage, which is expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card. It is running on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Moreover, the tablet is water-proof, dust-proof and shock-proof. Also, it come with a built-in C-Pen (stylus). Samsung also launched today Samsung Smart Signage Tvs. These are digital solution designed for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and small office/home office (SOHO) owners in India. The business solution combines the informational and promotional benefits of digital display by sharing various customized in-store promotions and business content, along with the entertainment value of live TV for business customers - all at the same time. At the forum, Sasmung also showcased its newest and most advanced curved monitor, model SE790C. Alongside an optimised curved design, ultra-wide quad high definition (ULTRA-WQHD) resolution and a superior contrast ratio, the new 34-inch curved monitor SE790C comes equipped with Picture-by-Picture (PbP) and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) 2.0 functions for enhanced work efficiency. PbP allows users to easily connect two devices, such as a desktop, laptop, gaming device (Xbox, PlayStation, etc.) or Set-Top Box (STB), and view both simultaneously on the monitor without compromising screen real-estate. PiP 2.0 enables multi-tasking without the need to downscale content. The monitor also is equipped with four USB 3.0 super-charging ports to eliminate the need for a docking station and maintain 24/7 connectivity for all your devices. Theses are smart, sleek and are coming to India soon. Unveiled for the Indian market, Samsung Curved 8.1 Ch 320W Bluetooth Soundbar, are ideally suited to 55"and 65" Samsung SUHD TV range.Samsung Galaxy A7
