Apple Will Open Two Retail Stores In India This Month: Festivities And Events Planned To Welcome Customers

Apple will launch its first official retail store in India. In fact, the iPhone maker will launch two stores in the country within a span of two days.

Apple's first Indian retail store will open in Jio World Drive mall at BKC Mumbai, while the second will open in Saket, New Delhi. Apple has planned multiple events and festivities to mark the occasion.

Apple has announced the opening of its first-ever retail store in India. The brand has confirmed that the Apple Store in Mumbai, unofficially called Apple BKC, will open on April 18 at 11AM IST.

Apple's second store in India, dubbed Apple Saket, will open in Delhi on April 20 at 10AM IST. These new retail locations mark a significant expansion in India, commented Apple.

The physical stores will offer new ways to browse, discover, experience, and buy Apple products with exceptional service and experiences for customers, assured Apple.

Apple posted an image of the barricade it has put up for the Saket store. Needless to mention, the imagery is inspired by the iconic India Gate, a prominent and historical structure in India's capital

The Apple BKC store is located in the Jio World Drive Mall, which is located at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The barricade for the Mumbai store has been plastered with imagery inspired by the iconic "Kaali Peeli" taxis plying the Mumbai roads.

Apple BKC has announced a special "Today at Apple" session called "Mumbai Rising" to celebrate the store's opening. The online program will offer hands-on activities with Apple's products and services that celebrate the local community and culture in Mumbai.

Apple Stores are intentionally designed to offer customized services. The brand's stores have been set up in iconic locations and prominent business hubs across the world. Apple customers can explore the latest product lineup and get personalized service and support at these stores.

Employees at these Apple stores are informally called "Apple Badged". Each store has a "Genius Bar" where these highly-trained customer service executives offer their expertise.

Although Apple hasn't officially confirmed the same, Apple is expected to deploy more physical retail outlets in other parts of India. Indian customers should expect the same level of attention to detail and service that Apple customers are accustomed to.
