Jobs: Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs Biopic First Trailer Out [VIDEO]
Steve Jobs is the man who brought us Apple and it's revolutionary products. He often considered as a pioneer of the personal computer revolution. He was a visionary who wanted to change the world by bringing computers that would change the lives of the people. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak met in 1971 thanks to their mutual friend Bill Fernandez and five years latter, the two created Apple and the rest was history.
What started as a Garage project, became one of the the biggest companies the world has ever seen. Steve Jobs was not exactly the most pleasant person to be around with. Although he can be persuasive and charming at times, he was also known to be erratic and temperamental. It is said that he was often the smartest person in the room and he made it a point show that.
Apple was not always was on top of things, around 1984, Steve Jobs was growing more disappointed with John Sculley, who he had appointed as the CEO of Apple. This is mainly due to the deterioration in sales of the company's products. This riff would eventually lead Apple's board of directors to remove Jobs from his managerial duties as head of the Macintosh division, in 1985. Steve unhappy with the decision, resigned from Apple.
Jobs went on to start his new company NeXT Computer, which after releasing a couple of computers including the NeXT workstation and the NeXTcube, transitioned into a full on software company. Meanwhile, Apple was still struggling and was under the danger of loosing it all. In 1996 , Apple decided to buy NeXT for $427 million and appoint Steve Jobs as the CEO of the company. This proved to be the best move for Apple, as Steve Jobs eventually would go on to restore Apple to it's former glory.
The upcoming movie Jobs is a biographical drama film based on the illustrious career of the one of the forefathers of the computer revolution. Ashton Kutcher to star as Steve Jobs, along side Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak, this movie looks super cool. It should give you a inside story on how Steve Job's carrier took shape, changed courses and transformed. The feature film is set to release on August 16, 2013.
