BSNL Launches ‘Azadi Ka Plan’ for Rs. 1: Check Benefits, Eligibility, and Validity

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a special 'Azadi Ka Plan' priced at just Rs. 1, offering unlimited voice calls, 2GB data per day, and more. However, this plan is exclusively for new users.

The telco took to its X (formerly Twitter) handle to make the announcement. BSNL shared, "zadi ka plan at just Rs. 1/- & get true digital freedom with BSNL." The offer aims to draw in new subscribers by giving them an affordable way to experience BSNL's services.

BSNL Azadi Ka Plan: Eligibility, Benefits, and Validity

As noted, the BSNL Azadi Ka Plan is available exclusively for new users at just ₹1. Users can get a free SIM along with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data, all valid for 30 days. The plan is available from August 1 to August 31, 2025. To avail of the offer, users can visit their nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (CSC) or retailer.

Alongside this offer, BSNL has also simplified the process of upgrading broadband plans. If you're a BSNL FTTH (fiber broadband) or landline user, you can now upgrade your plan by simply sending a message to 1800-4444 on WhatsApp. Make sure to use your registered mobile number for the request.
