Airtel Offers 3GB 4G Data at Rs. 348 This Diwali Season

With Diwali around the corner, telecom operators are making beeline with attractive offers to lure customers.

On this occasion, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, Aircel, and BSNL have already announced deals that one would find difficult to ignore. Now this is the time for Airtel. Recently, the telco has announced a new 4G data plan that will slash your data cost by Rs. 117.

Very quietly the company has rolled out a new plan 4G plan where prepaid users will get 3GB data at a cost of Rs. 348. To recall, as per regular data plans, Airtel users had to pay Rs. 465 to get 3GB data. However, this plan is available only for select Airtel prepaid users who get an SMS as shown in the image.

Validity is For 28 Days

Similar to the regular plan, this Rs. 348 4G data plan also gives 28 days validity. However, it is to remember that this is just a promotional plan which is valid only for Diwali season.

Here is How You Can Avail This Offer

Airtel is offering two ways to avail the new festive offer. Either by dialing a USSD code from phone or using the My Airtel app for smartphones. Here's the detailed procedure.

A. Dial A USSD code from Keypad

If you also have received an SMS like this, you can avail this offer by dialing *121*1# from your Airtel number. But in this case, to successfully activate the plan, your account balance needs to have enough amount. Because the recharge amount deduction will be from your main balance.

B. Get it from your My Airtel App

Recently, the telecom operator has rolled out the updated version of its My Airtel app. So, if you have already updated the app on your phone, then follow the below steps.

Step 1. Launch the My Airtel App

Step 2. Click on Special Offer section.

Step 3. You'll find the said plan on the top of Telecom offers sub-section. Click on 'Get it' and another pop-up will appear.

Step 4. Click on 'Ok' to activate the plan. That's all you have to do.
