Airtel Outs Rs. 145, Rs. 345 Packs to Outshine Reliance Jio Fame: Which One Do You Prefer?
Airtel introduces Rs. 145 and Rs. 345 prepaid recharge packs with additional data benefits.
There is no doubt that Reliance Jio created ripples in the country's telecom sector since its launch in September with the Welcome Offer. Now, the service provider extended the same in the name of Jio Happy New Year Offer valid until March 31, 2017.

With the extension of the Welcome Offer, the other telecom operators in the country are geared up to surpass the fame that Jio has gained by offering freebies. The only way that they could get these is by offering low-cost plans and recharge packs that will help them retain their customers from porting to Jio.

Likewise, Airtel has announced two new recharge packs for its prepaid users to combat Reliance Jio. Here, you will get more details about these packs. Take a look!
The new Rs. 145 pack
The cheapest recharge pack that has been introduced by Bharti Airtel is the Rs. 145 pack that offers unlimited local and STD calls from Airtel to Airtel. Also, this pack offers 300MB 4G data for free. This pack is valid for a period of 28 days.
Rs. 345 pack sounds alluring
The other one introduced by Airtel is the Rs. 345 pack that also offers unlimited Airtel to Airtel STD as well as local calls. Along with this, the pack for offers 1GB of 4G data to the customers. Like the Rs. 145 pack, this one also has a 28-day validity.

Additional 50MB data too
Both these new Airtel recharge packs offer 50MB additional data to the subscribers using basic mobile phones. This is complimentary along with the 300MB or 1GB 4G data offered along with these packs.
Roaming rates will remain the same
Airtel has not introduced any special roaming offer with these new recharge packs. There are no free calls during roaming as in the case of Reliance Jio and the usual roaming rates will be applicable.

Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer is free
Though Airtel has announced these new Rs. 145 and Rs. 345 recharge packs, the Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer is something that is unmatchable right now. It offers free calls to any network even while roaming.
