Before the official launch, Reliance Jio was available to users in the form of 'Preview Offer', however, after its official launch, the preview offer has been changed to 'Welcome Offer'.
One thing which was common in the Reliance Jio's both offers is the access to unlimited services for free, but the welcome offer has its own catch. Here are the difference between Reliance Jio's preview offer and welcome offer.
Both Offer Unlimited Services
Both the Preview and Welcome offer unlimited access to services such as unlimited data, unlimited SMS, unlimited voice calls. However, at the time of preview offer, the voice calls were kind of irritating.
‘Welcome Offer’ has Daily Data Cap
After September 5, the users of preview offer will be converted to welcome offer under which users can have a daily data limit of 4GB and after that the speed will be limited to 128kbps.
Preview Offer is Truly Unlimited
Unlike welcome offer, the preview offer services are truly unlimited and users have enjoyed unlimited 4G data, voice calls, and unlimited SMS at that time.
Valid for three months
The Preview offer was valid for three months, however, all the users are now been slowly converted to welcome offer which is valid till December 31, 2016.
Access to Jio Apps
Whether it be preview offer or welcome offer, the common thing is every Reliance Jio user can enjoy all the Jio apps for free, absolutely free. There are some interesting Jio apps such as JioPlay, JioCinema, JioMusic, etc.
Preview Offer for Selected Users
As the name itself suggests, the Jio Preview offer was available for selected customers, whereas the welcome offer is open to everyone but can only be used in a 4G smartphone as Reliance Jio is LTE-only network.
