ACT Fibernet Introduces AI-Enabled Mesh Router Plans For Larger Homes With Enhanced Wi-Fi Coverage
ACT Fibernet has introduced new AI-enabled mesh router plans aimed at improving Wi-Fi coverage in larger homes.
The idea is simple: use multiple routers connected through a mesh network to reduce dead zones, maintain speed, and keep devices connected as users move from room to room.

Designed for Larger Homes
The new setup is meant for households over 1200 square feet, where a single router often struggles to provide consistent coverage. These mesh plans use two or more routers to create a unified Wi-Fi network. What makes them different is the use of built-in AI that adapts to the layout of the home and automatically manages connections.
The AI features include things like auto-switching between frequency bands, rerouting data traffic if a node goes offline, and adjusting to the physical environment of the home—walls, furniture, and device locations—to deliver more stable connectivity throughout the day.
Plans Start at ₹799
Depending on the city, pricing starts around ₹799 and goes up to ₹2,000 per month. These mesh solutions aren’t sold separately; they’re part of ACT Fibernet’s broadband service plans, bundled for homes that need wider, more reliable coverage.
ACT recommends these plans for households that use multiple connected devices for work, streaming, video calls, or smart home features.
Seamless Roaming and Self-Healing Networks
One of the key features is seamless roaming, which means devices don’t have to reconnect manually when moving between rooms. The AI system also includes a self-healing mechanism, which steps in to keep the connection stable if one of the mesh nodes goes down or becomes overloaded.
In practical terms, this could make a noticeable difference for people working from home or using Wi-Fi-dependent devices across multiple rooms.
A Response to the Demands of Hybrid Homes
As homes continue to shift toward remote work, online education, and digital-first living, network consistency has become just as important as raw speed. ACT says this update is part of its effort to support more adaptable and intelligent home internet setups for its growing customer base.
The new mesh-enabled plans are currently rolling out across ACT Fibernet’s service cities in India.
