Airtel Adds Free iCloud+ to Select Postpaid Family Plans in India: How To Claim Your Benefits

Airtel has added iCloud+ to select postpaid family plans in India, giving eligible iPhone users access to Apple’s cloud storage service without a separate subscription. The benefit is available on Airtel’s Rs 999, Rs 1,199, Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,749 family postpaid plans, alongside Apple TV and Apple Arcade.

The addition matters for users who already rely on Apple devices but pay separately for cloud backup, entertainment or gaming services. iCloud+ can be used to store photos, videos, files, contacts, passwords and device backups, making it useful for families with multiple iPhones or iPads on the same postpaid connection.

Airtel Postpaid Plans Now Bundle iCloud+ with Apple Services

The new bundle expands Airtel’s existing Apple benefits on higher postpaid family plans. Eligible customers can access iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade through the Airtel Thanks app. Airtel says users who already receive Apple TV as part of an eligible postpaid plan can move to the iCloud+ bundle at no additional cost.

Apple TV gives access to Apple Originals, including films, documentaries and series. Apple Arcade offers more than 200 games without ads or in-app purchases. iCloud+ adds the practical cloud layer, especially for users who regularly back up iPhones, sync files across Apple devices or need extra online storage.

The offer is limited to customers using an Airtel SIM on an iPhone and subscribed to one of the eligible family postpaid plans. Users on lower-value postpaid packs, prepaid plans or non-iPhone devices are not covered under the announced eligibility terms. The benefit must be claimed through Airtel’s own app.

How to Claim Free iCloud+ on Airtel Thanks app

Eligible customers can check the offer inside the Airtel Thanks app. After logging in with the Airtel number linked to the postpaid plan, users need to open the Rewards and OTTs section. If the iCloud+ offer appears there, they can tap on “Claim now” and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.

The claim process is important because bundled subscriptions usually need account linking or activation before they become available. Users should ensure they are signed in with the correct Airtel number and Apple ID. If the offer does not appear, the plan, device or account eligibility may need to be checked.

For Airtel, the move strengthens its premium postpaid positioning at a time when telecom operators are using bundled digital services to retain high-value customers. For Apple users, it reduces the need to manage multiple small subscriptions separately, provided they are already on one of the qualifying Airtel family plans.

The bundle is also timed with growing use of cloud backup in India. Many iPhone users quickly exhaust the free iCloud storage tier, especially with high-resolution photos, WhatsApp backups and device backups.
