Airtel Announces Free Data and Calling Benefits for Victims of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Rain

Bharti Airtel has announced free services for four days to support customers impacted by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana rain. Affected prepaid users whose validity has expired and are unable to recharge will receive 1.5 GB of free mobile data per day, along with unlimited calling.

These benefits are valid for four days only and do not require any action from the customers. The telecom operator has also extended the bill payment deadline for postpaid customers by an additional seven days.

Moreover, prepaid home users whose validity has expired and are unable to recharge will receive four days extra validity, ensuring uninterrupted access to home Wi-Fi services. It is also extending the bill payment by seven days for Postpaid Homes users. Airtel customers in the affected areas can avail of these benefits without new recharge. Bharti Airtel will automatically provide these benefits to eligible customers.

This is not the first time, Airtel also provided free services for three days to support customers impacted by the Wayanad landslide last month. It announced 1GB of free data daily, unlimited local, STD, and roaming voice calls, and 100 SMS per day for prepaid users, while the telecom operator extended the bill payment deadline for postpaid customers by 30 days.
