Airtel announces revised Rs. 799 pack for subscribers: Offers 3.5GB data per day
Airtel is now providing a total of 98GB of 3G/ 4G data for 28 days to its prepaid subscribers.
Well, amidst intense competition among the Indian telcos and a major threat from Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel has now revised its Rs. 799 pack for its prepaid customers.
With the revised plan Airtel is offering up to 3.5GB 3G/ 4G data per day alongside unlimited local, STD, and roaming voice calls, and 100 local and national SMS on a daily basis. The plan will be valid for 28 days. Previously, Rs. 799 pack offered 3GB data per day.
Airtel is now providing a total of 98GB of 3G/ 4G data for 28 days to its prepaid subscribers. Compared to Jio's offering Airtel users are getting 14GB more data.
However, 'unlimited' calls under the Airtel 799 pack are restricted to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. It is applicable to both local and STD calls. Further, subscribers who purchase the new Airtel pack via Airtel Payments Bank will get a cashback worth up to Rs. 75.
Meanwhile, Airtel has also recently introduced a refreshed Airtel TV app and the telco has even announced free subscription to its content for Airtel prepaid and postpaid subscribers. This offer will be valid until June. Besides, this could be a good deal for new users as the app does offer more than 300 live TV channels across genres such as GEC, movies, and news alongside 6,000 Bollywood and Hollywood blockbusters and access to services like HOOQ, Eros Now, and Sony Liv.
In addition, Airtel has also introduced a cheaper plan of Rs. 93 pack which offers 1GB data per day, unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, and 100 local and STD SMS per day to its users. It comes with a validity of 10 days.
All in all, it looks like Airtel and Jio are in neck to neck battle to offer the best possible deal to the subscribers.
