Airtel Expands 5G Network With Over 2,400 New Sites in MP and Chhattisgarh, Reaches 36 Million Customers
Airtel has added more than 2,400 new 5G sites across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the last 12 months, sharply improving data speeds, coverage and overall network reliability for customers in both states.
The rollout now spans 87 districts and reaches 36 million users in major cities, expanding towns and isolated villages. With around six new sites activated every day, customers get smoother video streaming, quicker downloads, more stable online work and learning, and more dependable digital payments while moving within or between the two states.

Airtel 5G in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh expands high-speed access
The strengthened Airtel 5G footprint covers important districts such as Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Sagar, Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Dewas, Korba and Rajnandgaon, along with many other locations. This wider reach supports day‑to‑day digital habits of citizens, school and college students, micro‑businesses and government offices that rely on fast connections for services and administration.
To plug earlier connectivity gaps, Airtel has also focused on raising network density in rural areas across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The company has accelerated site deployment in villages, along highways, near border regions and across economic corridors, where data use is growing quickly as more people adopt digital tools for work, study and services.
"Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are among Airtel's most strategic markets, and this expansion reflects our unwavering commitment to connecting the length and breadth of Bharat," said Ritesh Agrawal, CEO - Bharti Airtel for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The network push by Airtel in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh builds a stronger digital base for these regions. With broader 5G availability across urban centres, smaller towns and deep rural belts, more residents and organisations in the two states can rely on stable, high‑speed data connections for everyday tasks, economic activity and public services.
