Airtel Offering Free Data and Unlimited Calling Benefits for Victims of Wayanad Landslide

Bharti Airtel is offering free services for three days to support customers impacted by the Wayanad landslide. The offer includes free voice calls, 1GB of data per day, and 100 SMS for prepaid users. This initiative aims to help those affected by the disaster.

Prepaid customers in Wayanad can avail of these benefits even if their current plans have expired. No recharge is necessary to access these services. Bharti Airtel will automatically provide these benefits to eligible customers.

Affected prepaid users will receive 1GB of free data daily, unlimited local, STD, and roaming voice calls, and 100 SMS per day. These benefits are valid for three days only and do not require any action from the customers.

Airtel has also extended the bill payment deadline for postpaid customers affected by the landslide by an additional 30 days. This extension aims to ease the financial burden on those impacted by the disaster. Additionally, the telecom operator has converted 52 retail outlets in Kerala into relief material collection centres. This move supports local relief efforts and provides a centralised location for aid collection.

"Airtel stands in solidarity with the people affected by the landslide in Wayanad, Kerala," Bharti Airtel said in a statement.
