Airtel offers 4GB of 4G data per day at Rs. 999 for select users
Airtel has come up with a new Rs. 999 plan.
Bharti Airtel has come up with a new prepaid plan that offers 4GB of 4G data per day for select customers at Rs. 999. Along with 4GB data, the plan also offers unlimited calls both local and STD and is valid for 28 days.
This move from Airtel is definitely a move to combat with Reliance Jio. Well, Jio also offers a Rs. 999 plan that offers just 90GB of 4G data for 90 days (1GB per day) along with unlimited voice calls and messages. As this new Airtel plan is specific only to select prepaid subscribers, to know if you are eligible for this plan, you need to check the same from the My Airtel app.
Reliance Jio booster packs start from Rs. 11
You can also check the same by visiting the Airtel recharge portal. To do so, go to Browse Packs and choose Internet sub-category on the website.
If you compare both Airtel Rs. 999 and Reliance Jio Rs. 999 packs, the Airtel plan offers 112GB of 4G data for 28 days (4GB per day). On the other hand, Reliance Jio offers 1GB of data per day that results in 90GB of data for 90 days. The plan that attracts you depends on your choice and usage, whether you want more data or increased validity.

All these bundle unlimited calls and a specific amount of 4G data per day for 28 days and are meant to combat with Reliance Jio that offers plans starting from Rs. 309.
