Airtel Partners With Curiosity Stream For Xstream; Will Offer Non-Fictional Content
After joining hands with Netflix, Airtel has now partnered with CuriosityStream, a non-fiction streaming service. For the unaware, CuriosityStream offers documentaries on history, travel, cars, space, art, and dinosaurs. Under this partnership, users will get a complete list of the content catalog of CuriosityStream. It includes exclusive originals, which will be available on the Airtel Xstream platform.
Besides, Airtel Thanks Gold and Platinum customers will get complimentary access to CuriosityStream content on the app and its website. Furthermore, the content will be available on the Airtel Xstream hybrid box and Xstream smart stick. Airtel Xstream offers over 10,000 movies and 400+ live channels. In fact, the content can be accessed across all screens such as smartphone, TV, and PC through Xstream applications and smart devices.
It is worth mentioning that the app offers content from ZEE5, Hooq, Hoi Choi, Eros Now, HungamaPlay, ShemarooMe, Ultra and songs from the Wynk app.
Besides, the company launched an Android-based set-top box. It comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows you to stream videos from mobiles to TV. Also, you can connect it to the DTH service of Airtel to watch live TV.
Apart from that, the company has launched Enterprise Hub, which is a one-stop digital platform that offers self-care services small and medium business (SMB) customers. The newly launched services are only available to postpaid users. However, the company will roll out this service for its prepaid users. As a part of this offer, users can view, download, pay bills online, view payment history, complete account management, and TDS certificate uploads.
Enterprise Hub will make processing simpler for customers, enabling them to manage their time better as they get a host of their connectivity needs to be addressed in real-time. The services will be available will soon be rolled out for other products and services.
