Airtel’s Rs. 499 Infinity plan is certainly irresistible with the data rollover feature
With almost every operator in India offering pan-India coverage and unbelievably low-cost data packages, the brand loyalty remains a big question. At this point in time, Airtel is one of the operators that is offering a plethora of content to improve the diminishing brand loyalty and increase the chances of making subscribers stick to its network.
Lately, Bharti Airtel has been coming up with several revisions of its prepaid plans in order to offer more data benefits to the subscribers at the same cost as before. Following the prepaid plans, the operator appears to have shifted its focus to the postpaid subscribers by revising the Infinity postpaid plans. The revised Infinity plans offer double the amount of 3G/4G data along with the rollover facility and other notable benefits.
This is not the first time that the company is offering enhanced data benefits with its postpaid plans. Back in November, Airtel did come up with enhanced benefits on some of its postpaid plans for its subscribers.
Revised Airtel plans
Now, Airtel has revised the Infinity postpaid plans priced at Rs. 399, Rs. 499, Rs. 799, and Rs. 1,199. All these postpaid plans are valid for one month and will offer double the data benefits. Let's take a look at the Rs. 499 Airtel Infinity postpaid plan and the benefits offered by the same to the postpaid users of the network.
Double data benefit
Airtel's Rs. 499 Infinity postpaid plan offers 40GB of 3G/4G data per billing cycle with the rollover facility. In addition to this, the plan comes bundled with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Notably, the roaming calls include both incoming and outgoing calls. Prior to the recent revision, the Rs. 499 Infinity postpaid plan offered 20GB of 3G/4G data per billing cycle.
Data Rollover feature
The data rollover feature of Airtel enables subscribers to carry forward the unused data in a billing cycle to the next billing cycle. Subscribers can carry forward up to 200GB of data. It is possible to check the data usage and remaining balance via the MyAirtel app.
Other benefits
Apart from the Data Rollover feature, the Airtel Infinity postpaid plan of Rs. 499 comes with additional benefits such as Wynk Music, Live TV & Movies, and handset damage protection as well. Also, the subscribers to the Airtel Infinity postpaid plans will get one year of free subscription to Amazon Prime that costs Rs. 999.
Watch Amazon Prime for free with Airtel TV
Subscribers of this Infinity postpaid plan of Rs. 499 can enjoy free Amazon Prime subscription for a year. Customers should download the Airtel TV app and activate the subscription. Then, on downloading the Amazon Prime app, users can enjoy unlimited access to movies and TV shows on the same for free.
Should you opt for this plan?
Well, at a cost of Rs. 499, you will be able to enjoy several benefits such as 40GB of data, free and unlimited calls, handset protection, and music, movies and live TV shows. Of course, there are other operators giving similar plans to their subscribers making you confused on which one to choose. The major benefit that you will get with this Infinity postpaid plan is the data rollover facility offered by Airtel. It will be helpful when you need more data as you can store up to 200GB of data at your deployment.
