Airtel vs Jio! Prepaid Recharge Plans Announced Ahead of the New Year: Checkout Pricing and Benefits

Bharti Airtel has introduced a new prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 398. This plan is designed for users seeking high-speed internet and premium entertainment. Available on the Airtel Thanks app, website, and retail outlets, it offers numerous benefits. In response, Reliance Jio has also launched a new prepaid plan for its users. Below are the details of these offerings.

The Airtel Rs 398 prepaid plan includes a 28-day Hotstar Mobile subscription. This allows access to live sports, movies, and popular web series. However, this subscription is limited to one device, specifically a smartphone, as it supports only one screen at a time. The Hotstar Mobile subscription typically costs Rs 149 for three months or Rs 499 annually.

Airtel's New Prepaid Plan Features

In addition to the Hotstar Mobile subscription, Airtel's new prepaid plan provides unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls. Users receive 2GB of 5G data daily along with 100 SMS per day. The plan is valid for 28 days, offering comprehensive connectivity and entertainment options.

Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has announced its New Year Welcome Plan priced at Rs 2025. This plan offers a validity of 200 days and includes unlimited calling benefits. Users can enjoy a total of 500GB of high-speed 4G data with a daily FUP limit of 2.5GB and unlimited access to 5G data.

Reliance Jio's New Year Welcome Plan Details

The Jio plan also features unlimited SMS and complimentary access to JioSuite apps such as JioTV and JioCinema. This offer is available from December 11, 2024, to January 11, 2025. Interested customers can purchase it through the MyJio app or the Jio website.
