Airtel’s New ₹59 Pack Saves Your Unused Data for Weekend Streaming – Is It Worth It?
Airtel has rolled out a new ₹59 Weekend Data Rollover Pack, allowing prepaid users to carry forward unused weekday data to the weekend.
This move directly competes with Vodafone Idea, which already offers a similar feature, and adds another layer of flexibility for Airtel users who don't always use up their daily data allowance.

How Does the ₹59 Weekend Data Rollover Pack Work?
The ₹59 pack is currently available to prepaid users in Haryana and the North East, but not yet in Tamil Nadu. It comes with a 28-day validity and requires an active Airtel base plan to function.

The idea is simple: any data you don't use from Monday to Friday gets saved and can be used on Saturday and Sunday. For example, if you have a 2GB daily data plan but only use 1GB on a weekday, the extra 1GB gets rolled over to the weekend.
This feature is useful for users who may have a lighter data usage during weekdays but stream, game, or browse more on weekends.
Airtel's ₹929 Prepaid Plan Offers More for Long-Term Users
In addition to the data rollover pack, Airtel has introduced a ₹929 prepaid plan, which comes with:
- 1.5GB of data per day (total 135GB for 90 days)
- Unlimited calls across India
- 100 SMS per day
- Apollo 24/7 Circle access and Hello Tunes
Once the daily limit is reached, speeds are reduced to 64Kbps. This plan is ideal for those looking for a longer validity period with a balanced mix of data, calls, and SMS.
