Bharti Airtel join hands with Moto and Lenovo to offer cashback of Rs 2000
All smartphones will come bundled with a recharge pack of Rs 169 from Airtel offering 1GB 4G data per day and unlimited calling benefits – local and STD.
With an aim to counter Reliance Jio "FootBall offer" India's largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel today announced its partnership with Motorola Mobility India to offer budget-friendly 4G smartphones under Airtel's 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative.
Under this new partnership users will get Moto C, Moto E4, and the Lenovo K8 Note from Lenovo with a cashback of Rs 2000. All smartphones will come bundled with a recharge pack of Rs 169 from Airtel offering 1GB 4G data per day and unlimited calling benefits - local and STD.
The cashback benefit of Rs 2000 will be given to customers in two installments over 36 months. A customer needs to make Airtel prepaid recharges worth Rs 3500 within the 18 months to be eligible for the first cashback installment of Rs 500.
Vani Venkatesh, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel said, "We are delighted to collaborate with Motorola under the 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative. It marks a major milestone in our journey towards building a large open ecosystem of affordable smartphone options for our valued customers. We look forward to working with Motorola to bring smartphones within the reach of more and more customers."
Similarly, another set of recharges worth Rs 3500 over the next 18 months will make the customer eligible for the second installment of Rs 1500, the telco said.

We are confident that with this partnership, we will be able to empower more users with an enriched mobile experience, Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India and Lenovo MBG India said.
Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has partnered with Mukesh Ambani- owned Reliance Jio, for attractive offers for its consumers.
Under "Jio Football Offer" entitles a cashback of Rs. 2200 to all new ZenFone users, on their first Jio recharge of Rs.198/Rs.299 on or after 15th February 2018 and to avail such benefits, Jio Prime subscriber has to successfully recharge with a Jio prepaid plan of Rs.198/299 on a newly purchased Asus ZenFone device.
The cashback will be credited in the form of 44 vouchers of Rs.50 each, in the MyJio app, which can be redeemed, one at a time per recharge, against subsequent, recharges of Jio prepaid plan of Rs.198/299, via MyJio app only.
