BSNL Introduces New Rs 251 Recharge Plan With 251GB Data

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-owned telecom operator, has introduced a new recharge plan priced at Rs 251. This is a data voucher, which means it doesn't include any other service.

The Rs 251 data voucher plan targets people who are consuming a lot of mobile data during this IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025 season. Let's take a look at the benefits of the BSNL Rs 251 data voucher plan.

BSNL's Rs 251 data voucher comes with 251GB of fair usage policy (FUP) data for a validity period of 60 days. Since this is a data voucher plan, it needs an active prepaid plan to work. Without a valid base plan, this data voucher cannot be activated.

Moreover, the telecom operator recently rolled out a new broadband plan priced at Rs 999 per month, offering 5000GB of data at 200 Mbps.

Not only BSNL, but Airtel recently rolled out two new cricket plans with a free JioHotstar subscription. The Rs 100 recharge plan from Airtel offers a total of 5GB data and one month of free access to JioHotstar. The other plan, priced at Rs 195, offers 15GB of data along with a 90-day subscription to the JioHotstar.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) also introduced a recharge plan priced at Rs 101, which offers 5GB of data with a 30-day validity and a three-month JioHotstar subscription.

Unlike previous years when matches were available for free on JioCinema, streaming IPL matches now requires a paid plan on JioHotstar.
