Airtel's Recent Service Enhancements

While BSNL is focusing on Mother's Day discounts, Airtel has made its own updates, particularly in International Roaming (IR) services. Airtel has replaced its ₹649 IR pack with a new ₹648 plan that extends coverage to 189 countries.

The new plan offers:

• 1GB of high-speed data per day, after which the speed is reduced to 80 kbps

• 100 minutes of voice calls, both incoming and outgoing

• Free incoming SMS and 10 free outgoing SMSs

• International calls are charged at ₹45 per minute

The IR pack is valid for one day and is aimed at short-term international travelers. Additionally, Airtel introduced a Business Name Display feature, allowing businesses to show their brand name during outgoing calls. This new service is part of its broader strategy to enhance user experience with AI-powered spam detection.
