Google Gemini 3 Now Available Free to All Jio Unlimited 5G Subscribers: Eligibility and Benefits

Jio is broadening its AI offerings by providing all Unlimited 5G users with 18 months of free access to the Jio Gemini Pro Plan. This plan now features Google's latest Gemini 3 model. Previously, this benefit was limited to younger users, but it is now available to a wider audience in India. The plan, valued at Rs. 35,100, can be activated through the MyJio app.

Google's Gemini 3 models have been introduced as part of this expansion. These models include the Gemini 3 Pro and the more advanced Gemini 3 Deep Think. They bring significant enhancements in reasoning, conversations, coding, mathematics, and autonomous agent-style capabilities. Google describes these models as their most capable and intelligent yet.

Jio's Strategic Move to Broaden AI Access

The shift to include all Unlimited 5G users reflects Jio's strategy to integrate advanced AI into everyday experiences for a broader audience in India. Users can activate the Gemini Pro Plan for free by selecting the Claim Now option in the MyJio app starting November 19, 2025.

To qualify for the complimentary Jio Gemini Pro Plan subscription, customers need an active Jio SIM and an Unlimited 5G plan. Once these conditions are met, activation can be completed directly through the MyJio app.

Gemini 3 Models: A Leap Forward in AI Technology

Google's internal tests show that Gemini 3 Pro surpasses its predecessor and OpenAI's GPT-5.1 in key benchmarks. It also outperforms most of Claude 4.5 Sonnet's benchmarks, achieving record scores in advanced reasoning tests. Although Deep Think shows even stronger results, it is currently limited to safety testers.

The introduction of Google's Gemini 3 lineup includes major improvements across various platforms such as the Gemini app, AI Mode in Search, AI Studio, Vertex AI, and Google's new Antigravity development platform.

This initiative by Jio marks a significant step towards making sophisticated AI tools more accessible across India. By offering these tools at no cost for an extended period, Jio aims to enhance user experiences and promote widespread adoption of advanced technology.
