Idea partners with iVoomi, offers cashback on newly launched iVoomi i1 and i1s smartphones

Under the special offer, customers will get a total cashback of Rs. 1,500 – Rs. 300 in the first 12 months and Rs. 1,200 in the next 12 months.

India's third largest telecom operator Idea Cellular today announced its partnership with Chinese smartphone maker iVoomi under which the company is offering a cashback amount of Rs 1,500 for customers who're purchasing the newly launched iVoomi i1 and i1s smartphones.

Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular, said, "Availability of good quality devices at affordable price points is key to the uptake of 4G in India. We are happy to partner with device makers to bring down the cost of ownership for smartphones and enable superior 4G experience for our customers, thereby driving 4G penetration in India.

The new iVoomi i1 and i1s 4G smartphones will be now available to Idea customers for an effective price of Rs. 4,499 and 5,999 over a period of two years.

Under the special offer, customers will get a total cashback of Rs. 1,500 - Rs. 300 in the first 12 months and Rs. 1,200 in the next 12 months - on the purchase of new iVoomi smartphone range, available exclusively on Flipkart, starting 10th January 2018.

To avail the cashback, Idea customers need to do a minimum recharge of Rs. 199 per month for the first 12 months which will give Unlimited Outgoing Calls on all networks, 28GB Data (1GB/Day), 100 SMS/Day, Free Outgoing & Incoming Roaming with a validity of 28 days. Cumulative recharge value should be at least Rs. 2,500 to get cashback of Rs. 300 for the first 12 months.

Over the next 13 to 24 months, customer needs to recharge with a minimum of Rs. 199 per month with a cumulative recharge value of Rs. 2,500 for 12 months, to get the remaining cashback of Rs. 1,200.

iVoomi i1 and i1s smartphones are equipped with the dual rear camera and packed with 2GB RAM+16GB ROM and 3GB RAM+32GB ROM, respectively, that can be expanded up to 128GB on both the devices. They carry a 3000mAh battery and run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Both the devices come with the screen size of 5.45-inch (13.84 cm) HD Infinity Edge Display (18:9 Screen Ratio).
