Jio's 100GB of Free Cloud Storage and AI Features Available for Select Users in India
Reliance Jio has finally rolled out its Cloud Storage Welcome offer for users in India, which includes up to 100GB of free cloud storage and access to new AI features.
Jio has now started notifying select users via SMS about this offer, which says "As a valued family member and JioCloud user, we want you to be the first to experience the new JioCloud''.

In addition to the 100GB of free storage, it also offers users a suite of AI-driven features. Among these are AI Memories and AI Scanner, alongside DigiLocker integration, showcasing Jio's ambition to transform cloud storage into an intelligent, user-friendly platform.
This announcement was made during the telco's 47th annual general meeting (AGM) back in August. The official announcement by Mukesh Ambani during the AGM underscored Jio's commitment to digital innovation.
Ambani's statement, "Jio users will get up to 100GB of free cloud storage, to securely store and access all their photos, videos, documents, all other digital content, and data. And we will also have the most affordable prices in the market for those needing even higher storage," highlights the initiative's aim to democratize digital storage solutions.
Jio's vision extends beyond just offering cloud storage; it intends to make cloud services as ubiquitous and fundamental as internet access itself. Further, the telecom service provider aims to make cloud storage as commonplace as internet access, allowing users to securely store and access their digital content with ease.
In the same, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Viacom 18 Media Private Limited (Viacom18), and The Walt Disney Company have announced a joint venture, dubbed JioStar.
RIL has invested ₹11,500 crore (~US$1.4 billion) into this joint venture (JV) to support its growth. You can also explore our comprehensive list of JioStar subscription plans.
