Jio Introduces Cheapest Prepaid Plan With Unlimited 5G Data: Check All the Details Here

Reliance Jio has introduced the most affordable prepaid plan with unlimited 5G data priced at Rs 198. The new plan comes with a validity period of 14 days. It also includes 2GB of 4G data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.

Moreover, the Rs 198 prepaid plan offers free subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud. Following a recent price hike, the telecom giant announced that plans with 2GB of data per day or more now include unlimited 5G data access.

This newly introduced plan is the most affordable option from Jio featuring unlimited 5G data. It surpasses the Rs 349 prepaid plan, which was previously the cheapest option with unlimited 5G data and a validity of 28 days. The Rs 349 plan also offers 2GB of 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS daily for the entire duration.

The new plan is already reflecting on Jio's official website. Customers can also recharge from the MyJio app, which does not include any additional charges like Google Pay, Paytm, and PhonePe.

In comparison to its competitors, Bharti Airtel's most affordable plan with unlimited 5G data costs Rs 379. Although slightly more expensive than Jio's offering, Airtel's plan provides a longer validity period of 30 days compared to Jio's similar plans which offer only up to 28 days.
