Jio’s ₹1028 Prepaid Plan Now Bundles JioHotstar and Swiggy One Lite Perks
Mukesh Ambani's Jio has added a few new incentives to its ₹1028 prepaid plan, and it's no longer just about unlimited calls or 5G data. The plan now includes access to Jio Hotstar Mobile, Swiggy One Lite, and ₹50 cashback, turning it into a bundle that caters to entertainment, convenience, and everyday use.
The update comes just in time for the IPL 2025 season, allowing users to stream matches through Hotstar without needing an extra subscription.

90-Day Subscriptions, But 84-Day Validity
One small detail to note: while the Hotstar and Swiggy One Lite subscriptions run for 90 days, the telecom benefits are valid for 84 days. So, after your data, calls, and SMS expire, you'll still be able to enjoy a few extra days of streaming and food delivery perks.
During the 84-day window, users get 2GB of data per day along with unlimited 5G access, assuming they're in a supported area and using a compatible device. There's also the standard unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day, and if you exhaust the daily data, speeds drop to 64 Kbps.
Swiggy One Lite Adds Everyday Value
The Swiggy One Lite benefit included in the plan comes with a few practical advantages. You get 10 free food deliveries on orders over ₹149 and another 10 free Instamart deliveries for orders above ₹199. Instamart orders are also exempt from surge pricing, and Genie deliveries get a 10% discount for orders above ₹60.
These benefits are worth roughly ₹600 if purchased separately and could appeal to regular users of Swiggy who now get to access these without paying an extra fee.
Cloud Storage Joins the Mix with Jio AICloud
Alongside entertainment and food delivery, Jio has added another service-AICloud-into the fold. Subscribers get 50GB of cloud storage, which can be used to back up photos, files, or media through Jio's app ecosystem. It's a quiet but notable addition, especially for users who already rely on cloud platforms and want a local alternative.
A Lifestyle Bundle Masquerading as a Recharge Plan
While it still sits under the "prepaid recharge" category, Jio's ₹1028 plan feels more like a lifestyle subscription. It brings together data, voice, streaming, food delivery, and storage-all in one go. The only real limitation is its short 84-day validity, which might make it more appealing for short-term users or those timing their recharge around the IPL season.
Whether Jio plans to roll out a longer-term version of this plan remains to be seen, but for now, it's a tidy option for users who want more than just a SIM recharge.
