Jio Launches New Intra-Circle Roaming Plans to Access BSNL Network

Jio has introduced two new Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) recharge plans for its users. This initiative is in collaboration with the state-operated telecom provider, BSNL. These new plans aim to enhance connectivity options for Jio customers within these regions.

The ICR recharge option becomes functional once a user connects to the BSNL network. However, this BSNL ICR plan is exclusively available for Jio customers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh at present.

Details of the New Recharge Plans

The newly launched plans are priced at Rs 196 and Rs 396, each offering a validity period of 28 days. The Rs 196 plan provides users with 2GB of data, along with 1,000 minutes of voice calls and 1,000 SMS. Meanwhile, the Rs 396 plan offers a more generous data allowance of 10GB, while maintaining the same benefits for voice calls and SMS.

"BSNL ICR service is available on select prepaid recharges offered by Jio. This allows customers to use voice, data, and SMS services by connecting to the BSNL network within the same geographical circle, at select locations," Jio stated.
