He also added that in the wake to support the customers in demonetization, JioMoney will be expanding its reach to millions of touch points where micro-ATMs will be deployed, which will enable digital transactions of all types, be it at mandis, small shops, restaurants, bus or railway ticket counters or anywhere else.
Along with that, there are other announcements where Ambani also asserted that Reliance Jio has attracted 52 million customers, since it hit the market, and also claimed that it has grown faster than that of Facebook, WhatsApp, or Skype, which is surely a big statement by the company chief.
The speech also highlighted that Jio has added 50 million customers on its 4G LTE all-IP wireless broadband network, and that the customers are using 25 times more data as compared to the average Indian broadband users. Along with these declarations, Ambani states that the call block rate of the company has dropped down by nearly 90 percent, to nearly 20 percent yesterday.
