Reliance Jio Prepaid Plans Revised: Checkout All the Details and Benefits Here!
Reliance Jio has made changes to its Rs 69 and Rs 139 data add-on plans. These plans now have a standalone validity of 7 days, differing from their previous structure where they mirrored the user's base plan duration. This update means users must consume the data within a week, unlike before when it lasted as long as the base pack.
Previously, these add-ons would remain active for the same period as the user's main recharge. For instance, if a base pack had 30 days left, the add-on would last for those 30 days too. Now, with the new revision, both plans offer only a week's validity.

Standalone Validity and Data Benefits
The Rs 69 plan provides users with 6GB of high-speed data. Meanwhile, the Rs 139 plan offers double that amount at 12GB. Once users exhaust this data, internet speeds drop to 64Kbps. It's crucial to note these are purely data plans without voice or SMS benefits.
These add-ons require an active base plan on the user's number to function. Without an active base plan, these data-only packs won't work. This change might affect how users manage their data consumption over shorter periods.
Reintroduction of Rs 189 Plan
In addition to these changes, Reliance Jio has brought back its Rs 189 prepaid plan after a brief hiatus. This plan is part of Jio's 'affordable packs' category aimed at basic connectivity needs. It offers a validity of 28 days with a total of 2GB data.
The Rs 189 plan also includes unlimited voice calls and 300 SMS messages. Users can access Jio services like JioTV and JioCinema (excluding premium content), along with JioCloud storage. The speed reduces to 64Kbps once the data limit is reached.
Price Reduction for Rs 448 Plan
Jio has also adjusted the pricing of its Rs 448 prepaid recharge plan, reducing it to Rs 445. This package provides subscribers with daily benefits over a span of 28 days. The revised Rs 445 plan offers users 2GB of daily data along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
Additionally, subscribers gain access to several OTT platforms such as Zee5, JioCinema Premium, SonyLIV, and Lionsgate Play. This move by Reliance Jio reflects its strategy to cater to diverse user needs through varied plans and pricing adjustments while enhancing accessibility to digital content services.
