Reliance Jio vs Airtel: 2GB per day plans compared
Access to Internet reached nook and corner all over India with the birth of Mukesh Ambani's ambitious project Reliance Jio. Reliance Jio has revolutionised the telecom industry by providing data for offers which we've never seen before.
This move caused friction between Jio and other operators including Airtel, Vodafone, and others Idea, where they were forced to bring down the tariff plans just to stay in the competition. Till now, Reliance Jio has refreshed its tariff plans couple off times, where the last one didn't go well with the customers as the price of each and every data spiked.
Following the reactions of the customers, Reliance Jio has revised the tariff plans again as a part of New Year 2018 offer. Today, we have compared the plan of both Airtel and Reliance Jio that offer more than 2GB 4G data per day.
Reliance Jio Prepaid
When it comes to more than 2GB, Jio just has one pack and that costs you around Rs. 799, offering 3GB of 4G data per day. If you recharge with this plan, you will get

Voice calls: Unlimited (local + STD + roaming)
SMS: Unlimited
Validity: 28 days
Total data/ month: 84GB
Reliance Jio Postpaid
Coming to the postpaid scheme, the plan remains the same, but the consumer needs to pay a security deposit of Rs. 950 and the validity are of a standard billing cycle. The consumer needs to pay Rs. 799 and you will get
Data: 3GB of 4G data/day
Voice calls: Unlimited (local + STD + roaming)
SMS: Unlimited
Validity: 28 days
Total data/ month: 84GB
Moving on to Airtel, they are forced to reduce the tariff plan due to Jio. When it comes to offers that provide you more than 2GB is Rs. 549. With this, you will get

There is another pack that offers extra 500MB with 3GB and that costs you around Rs. 799.
