Vi Launches ₹1,601 REDX Family Plan With Equal 5G Data, OTT, and Roaming Benefits for All Members

Vodafone Idea (Vi) is taking a new approach to postpaid plans with the launch of its REDX Family Plan, priced at ₹1,601 per month for two users.

Unlike most shared plans that limit perks for additional users, this one brings full benefits to everyone in the family—across data, entertainment, travel, and more.

Same Data and Perks for Every Line

The big shift here is equality. Whether you’re the primary user or added as a secondary line, the REDX Family Plan gives both members access to unlimited 4G/5G data, voice calls, and 3,000 monthly SMS. Additional members can be added for ₹299 per line, and each one gets the same core features—no throttling or reduced access for add-ons.

According to Vi, this is the first postpaid plan in India where all users get identical data benefits and services, not just the account holder.

Streaming, Roaming, and Lounge Access Included

Subscribers get bundled access to several OTT platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, and SonyLIV. There’s also a travel angle built in—each user gets four complimentary airport lounge visits per year, a 7-day international roaming pack worth ₹2,999, and 25% off on a second roaming pack, which can be claimed by any member.

Lifestyle and Service Add-ons

The plan also includes a 6-month Swiggy One membership, Norton device security for one year, and Vi Priority support, which includes 24/7 customer care, faster resolution at Vi stores, and SIM delivery for senior citizens.

Available Now, But Targeted at Premium Users

At ₹1,601 per month for two members, this plan isn’t cheap—but it’s positioned as a full-stack solution for families who’d otherwise be paying separately for postpaid plans, OTT subscriptions, and international roaming.
