Vi Partners with Sun NXT to Allow Users to Access South Indian Movies, TV Shows, and More
On Monday, Vi announced a new partnership with OTT platform Sun NXT, allowing users to access a rich library of South Indian blockbuster movies, exclusive series, TV shows, LIVE TV, and more. Users can enjoy the content in seven languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi.
In addition to the Sun NXT, Vi users can get other top OTT platform subscriptions, including Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, ManoramaMax, etc. With Vi Movies and TV Plus packs, consumers can save on OTT subscriptions.

The telco also stated that '' A recent study conducted by FICCI-EY reported that Regional OTT content volume was at 52% vis à vis Hindi language content at 48% in 2023'', which highlights the importance of regional language content for national OTT platforms aiming to attract a broader audience.
Vi Movies and TV portfolio is designed to cater to the diverse preferences of users i.e Klikk for Bengali content, Chaupal for Punjabi content, ManoramaMAX for Malayalam and Nammaflix for Kannada content.
With the partnership with Sun NXT, users can explore a rich selection of regional films, shows, and popular titles on Sun NXT such as Rajnikanth's Annaatthe, Vijay's Beast, Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, Doctor, Ravi Teja's Eagle. Even users will have access to TV shows in six different languages, including popular shows like Kayal, Singapenne, Radha, Nandini ka Pratishod and Sant Gajanan, among others.
Sun NXT's premium content has been added to the Vi Movies and TV Plus and Lite packs, priced at Rs 248 and Rs 154 per month respectively at no extra cost. The Rs 248 pack also offers a total of 6GB of data, and other OTT subscriptions including Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, and more. On the other side, the Rs 154 plan bundles 2GB of data. It's worth noting both of these plans doesn't provide any other benefits like calling and SMS.
