Vodafone launches digital transformation initiatives, brings back the ZooZoos in a new Ninja avatar

Vodafone is leading this evolution, handholding customers to move from assisted only care to digital self-care and anytime and doorstep services

In a bid to give great customer service, India's second largest telecom service provider Vodafone has launched new digital transformation initiatives and bringing back the ZooZoos in a new Ninja avatar and communicating about "Happy to Help... IN A CLICK".

Vodafone launches digital transformation initiatives

"Vodafone has always believed that Customer Service is a key differentiator for telecom services and has been known for its best-in-class customer experience in the industry. With the world going digital, customer service across categories has evolved from being a human-led, call-center-based query resolution mechanism to a more digitally evolved, self-care and 24/7/365 experience. Vodafone is leading this evolution, handholding customers to move from assisted only care to digital self-care and anytime and doorstep services," telco said.

Siddharth Banerjee - Executive Vice President - Marketing, Vodafone India, said, "As technology drives the changing customer behavior and expectations, we at Vodafone have driven our digital transformation initiatives hard and also evolved our Happy to Help philosophy for the 2018 Digital Customer to "Happy to Help... IN A CLICK"."

"Further, in keeping with the topicality of our campaign break, we are bringing back our much loved ZooZoos in a brand-new Ninja avatar ... they are quick, agile and efficient... much like our service experience, enabled by the digital transformation initiatives at Vodafone India," he added.

Meanwhile, the telco is all set to merge its operations with Idea Cellular.

In fact last week, the companies announced the leadership team of the merged entity, which will have Kumar Mangalam Birla as the non-executive Chairman, while Balesh Sharma (currently Chief Operating Officer of Vodafone India) will be the CEO and he will be responsible for the combined business strategy and its execution as well as driving integration.

The existing leadership teams of Idea Cellular and Vodafone India will continue to manage their separate businesses and be accountable for each company's operational performance until the merger becomes effective. It is only upon completion of the merger that the two businesses will cease to operate as distinct and competing entities.
