Airtel Effect: Vodafone Launches Two Prepaid Plans; Offers Free Unlimited Calls
Vodafone-Idea has recently revised its tariff plans for its prepaid customers. But again, the company has launched two unlimited plans. The new plans are priced at Rs. 219 and Rs. 449. These new plans provide unlimited calling. This development comes in the backdrop of Airtel's recent announcement on expanding its prepaid plans with the free unlimited calling offer.
Vodafone Free Unlimited Calls Plans: Benefits And Validity
The company has already listed these plans on its website. These plans are priced at Rs. 219 and Rs. 449. Under the Rs 499 plan, the users get data up to 2GB for 56 days. As per the listing on the website, the Rs. 219 plan offers 1GB data per day and 100 SMS for 28 days.
The Rs. 449 plan also ships 100 SMS per day throughout the validity. Both plans are also available for Idea users. However, there is a catch. This plan is available in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Haryana, and Karnataka. On the other hand, the company has launched Rs. 339 plan. It is worth mentioning that both Airtel and Vodafone have removed the FUP limit on their plans on voice calls.
Meanwhile, speed testing firm Ookla has announced that Vodafone is the fastest 4G network in Delhi NCR. " We hope that more customers will join our Vodafone 4G bandwagon and take delight in our premium content offerings from Sony Liv, Zee5, Shemaroo, Hoi Choi, etc. available on the Vodafone Play App," Arvinder Singh Sachdev, Business Head - Delhi, Vodafone Idea said in a statement.
In addition, the company is upgrading its network capacity in the Delhi NCR region. In fact, network integration has been completed in Noida, Geater Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad regions. The company has also deployed technologies like Massive MIMO to enhance the network capacity in Delhi NCR.
