Vodafone intros Rs. 158 plan with 1GB data per day for 28 days
Vodafone has come up with a new prepaid plans for its subscribers.
It is raining offers in the telecom segment in India and subscribers are enjoying a lot of benefits, all thanks to Reliance Jio's cheap tariff plans that offer unlimited voice calls, free SMS and immense data. In order to give a tough competition to Jio, the other operators are also coming up with new tariff plans offering similar benefits for the users. However, these plans are now competing among themselves and Reliance Jio by offering similar plans in the same price bracket.
The latest one to come up with a new plan is Vodafone. The operator has announced a new prepaid plan priced at Rs. 158 for its subscribers. With this plan, the telecom operator is providing unlimited voice calls be it local, STD or roaming calls. Also, the subscribers will get 1GB of data per day for the entire validity of 28 days. Though it is said to offer unlimited voice calls, there is a FUP of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. On exhausting this limit, users will be charged for the additional usage.
This new Vodafone plan is aimed at competing with Airtel's new Rs. 149 plan that is also valid for 28 days. This Airtel plan offers 1GB data per day and unlimited voice calls. In addition to these, the Airtel plan comes with free 100 SMS per day and the same has been implemented by Vodafone now. Even Idea Cellular has come up with a similar plan priced at Rs. 158. This plan offers similar benefits as the Vodafone plan and is in no way different from it.
Besides the Rs. 158 prepaid plan, Vodafone has also come up with a new Rs. 151 prepaid plan. This plan comes with benefits such as unlimited voice calls including local, STD and roaming calls. Also, it provides 1GB data per day for a period of 28 days. Again, other incumbent operators such as Airtel and Idea Cellular also have such plans priced relatively cheaper at Rs. 93 and Rs. 109 respectively.
