Airtel Payments Bank has teamed up with Noise and Mastercard to launch an innovative smartwatch designed to streamline contactless payments. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance the convenience of digital transactions for consumers, reflecting the commitment of all parties to technological advancements in the banking and payments sector.
The Airtel Payments Bank Smart Watch, priced at Rs 2,999, is now available for purchase in India, offered in three colors: Gray, Black, and Blue.

How to Get the Airtel Payments Bank Smartwatch?
Customers with an existing savings account at Airtel Payments Bank can acquire the smartwatch through the Airtel Thanks App. New customers can also get their hands on this device by opening a bank account digitally via the same app. This integration underscores the bank's digital-first approach and its emphasis on providing seamless banking services to its customers.
Key Features and Specifications
The Airtel Payments Bank Smart Watch boasts a 1.85-inch square dial with a TFT LCD displaying 550 nits brightness, alongside Bluetooth calling capability and a battery life of up to 10 days. It also offers access to 150 cloud-based watch faces and supports 130 different sports modes. With an IP68 rating, it ensures durability against water splashes.
For health-conscious users, the smartwatch includes a Stress Monitor and features 24 x 7 Heart rate & SpO2 Monitoring, aiding in tracking and managing stress levels, as well as monitoring blood oxygen saturation levels for better health insights.
Enhancing Contactless Payments
One of the standout aspects of the Airtel Payments Bank Smart Watch is its Tap and Pay capability, facilitated by an NFC chip supported by the Mastercard network. Users can activate the watch by linking it to their Airtel Payments Bank savings account via the Thanks App in just a minute.

Following the activation, users can make payments ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 25,000 per day by tapping the watch on Point of Sale (POS) machines equipped with the Tap N Pay feature. This move is particularly significant as it makes financial transactions more convenient at retail outlets, POS terminals, and various other touchpoints.
The collaboration between Airtel Payments Bank and Noise, supported by Mastercard, to produce NFC chip-enabled smartwatches, aims to bring more such innovative products to the Indian market.
